I do agree with everyone but I would put Mumtaz as No 1. My reason is that she moved from Dara Singh girl to playing second role to Asha Parek, Sharmila Tagore, Ragshree and Saira Banu to name a few. plus she faced humiliation from Shashi Kapoor who refused to act opposite her in Pyar Kiye Jaa .
She had to have great talent to move up to being a STAR actress
