They say Bond's going to be downing beer instead of shaken/ stirred martinis in Skyfall!

The Horror. The Horror!

watched skyfall today. it's avant garde entertainment. the setting, the environment, the inevitability, the atmosphere -- as gripping as blofeld-bond battle in the novels, and as cataclysmic as the holmes-moriarty equation.

Not bad esp watching in IMAX . Loosing Max was ;( I thought shall loose band him self lol.
Comparative to last way more viewable.
No good car chases;(
And of course it is a feather in the cap of an already fine actor Javier bardum;) IMHO he was brilliant!

I think the cinema halls in Delhi atleast (if not entire India) pulled a fast one by playing only the 2.0 audio track and not the 5.1 :-(

heh heh.

Rana keeps asking in different threads about the experience others had in terms of surround sound of some movies. I think he's also a victim of theatres playing movies in 2.0 surround, not 5.1 ;-)

Skyfall -- we watched twice in top-of-the-line theatres in Delhi. Both times we felt the surround was non-existent/ weak. Ditto experience of some of our friends in other theatres.

BTW, Excel are doing a BD-plus-DVD in India with English, Tamil, Telegu, Hindi audio.
