We may not remember his name right away but surely, we remember this veteran actor being a part of numerous films. Mr. Shri Vallabh Vyas who is an alumnus of the National School of Drama and worked in movies like Satta, Yaarana, Lagaan, Sarfarosh, Dil Bole Hadippa, etc. is suffering from paralysis due to longstanding health problems.

His wife and daughter have been running from pillar to post, trying to make ends meet and pay the medical bills. When Mrs. Vyas approached CINTAA (Cine & TV Artists' Association) for help, Arun Bali from the Association only offered a meager amount of Rs. 10,000 which she respectfully declined.

Earlier, the family had to relocate to Jaisalmer from Mumbai due to financial constraints.

Reportedly, Aamir Khan with whom Mr. Vyas has worked in Sarfarosh and Lagaan has been trying to help out the family and visited him at the hospital while shooting for 'Peekay'.

Time and again, veteran actors have complained about the "step-motherly" they receive from Bollywood.
