I don't know if it's naivety or snobbery informing the assertion that TGIYB defies any sort of categorization as a genre film, and that Anurag Kashyap created this film with an overwhelmingly unique personal vision in mind that defies any sort of comparison with other experimentation, or any other film. A sort of postmodernism if you will. In any case, this is a cult classic in the making.
