After his rip-roaring Yamla Pagla Deewana, Samir Karnik is ready with his next directorial venture, Chaar Din Ki Chandni. The film, starring Tusshar Kapoor and Kulraj Randhawa, is set to release on Lohri next year (January 13, 2012).
Produced by Samir Karnik under the banner Top Angle Productions, Chaar Din Ki Chandni is a comedy laced with romance and is set against the backdrop of Rajasthan at a four-day wedding. The film revolves around a Rajput family and a family from Punjab, who are caught in a situation which creates comedy of errors. CDKC also stars Anupam Kher, Om Puri, Johnny Lever, Mukul Dev, Anita Raj, Sushant Singh and Chandrachur Singh.
