Anurag Kashyap's PAANCH
Excerpt:
"Paanch, though very well made, unfortunately remains a documentation of the Abhyankar murders, not an investigation into the morality of the act. What lifts the film in spite of, are the compelling performances, the taut direction and its treatment.

'Paanch' may finally see daylight!

Tutu Sharma, the producer of "Paanch", has sold the world rights for his movie to Boney Kapoor, who is planning a big release for the movie. "Paanch", directed by Anurag Kashyap, was completed in the year 2000 but had run into trouble with the censor board.

The bad patch in director Anurag Kashyap's career has come to an end, feels Sharma, who has signed Kashyap to direct a new film, starting August this year.

"The year ahead will be a bright one for Anurag. I am confident that his 'Black Friday' will also be cleared for release very soon," Sharma said.

Five aspiring rock stars, part of a band called the Parasites are prepared to do whatever it takes to make it to the top. Consequences are irrelevant until risks fueled by greed and immorality land the members in a thick web of bloodshed and betrayal.

The directorial debut of IFFLA 2005 Jury Award winner Anurag Kashyap (BLACK FRIDAY), FIVE was refused clearance by the Censor Board of India twice due to its allegedly controversial content. Yet to release theatrically in India, FIVE is a chilling thriller that boasts of powerful performances from its relatively lesser-known cast.

Film Review, the best thing to do is use the strategies to evaluate the films. You should observe some basic rules and reminders that can help you review your choice of best film. By paying some attention to the following questions, Im sure its almost the way for movie reviews. Rather than placing a well written piece set correctly through a grammar wizard software), you may want to cover these basic concerns: the story line. How good is it? Do you have any social utility How is your relationship to the original source? Is it true to life? You have to look at how important it is to the movie you have seen and is the basic concept that people want to hear or read.
