Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies will present Karthi starrer Paiyaa, directed by Lingusamy in association with Thiruppathy Brothers this summer.
Cloud Nine is a name to reckon with in Tamil cinema having released Suriya starrer Varanam Ayiram followed by their successful production venture Thamizh Padam. It is highly expected that this movie would be a hat trick for Cloud Nine Movies and also for Karthi. The company is currently producing Thoonga Nagaram, which went to floors very recently.

Paiyya has Karthi and Tamannah as the lead pair and Milind Soman in a key role, with musical score by Yuvanshankar Raja. Director Lingusamy's friend Madhi takes care of the cinematography, while editing is by Anthony. Kanal Kannan is in-charge of stunts. The adventure film that revolves around a road journey by a young man is slated for release this April.
