first of all this is a sengh exclusive
Ristaa (1999) Starring: Aamir Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Amitabh BachchanDuring that period, Amitabh was all set to start his production house going, as he was all set as a producer. He signed on Indra Kumar to do his project, Rishtaa, and Indra made his
Dil couple in the main lead as Amitabh was to play the father of Madhuri. But the problem caused because of the flopping of Major Saab and Amitabh was almost bankrupt, due to that, the film was shelved and Amitabh was still covering the costs for Major Saab which was roughly around about 90 crores in debt.
Dus (1996) Starring: Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty and Vinod KhannaSaid to be the most controverial film of its time; the film was said to expose terriost around the outskits of Kashmir, which hardly any film has been based on. The ace director Mukul Anand, went on to make something very different to his last work, Terroism. The film was 40% compelete then the death of Mukul S Anand had came, it was huge shock to the industry. The film was not compete even though promos and the audio was released. Vinod Khanna, one of Mukul Anand's favourite was also suppose to take a part of a corrupt general.

Churalia Nigahon Se (1997) Starring: Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Anupam KherJust after the success of DDLJ and Baazigar, Director Navin Rehal went on to repeat the same magic with this one. The film began shooting November 1995, a month after DDLJ had released, till late 1996, 5 reels were complete. The film was shelved with no reason given at all and the audio was released in 1997, which was wonderful by a new music director duo Jay-Vijay, which never apperead again in a big budget film. Rumors had it during 1999-2000 that the film was suppose to began again, which was proved false.
Qaraar (2001) Starring: Sanjay Dutt, Shahrukh Khan, Shilpa ShettyFirst thing I have to say, is what a cast. SRK and Sanjay Dutt have not made a single apperance on screen at all (Achanak had then two doing a special apperance but not together in one scene), I dont not have a clue about the director as this film is not even heard about by some people. I heard that one of the actors had got in a arguement with the director and made him leave the film due to a small incident with another co-star; this made him shelve the film.
London (1998) Starring: Sunny Deol, Karishma Kapoor, Bobby DeolJust after Paaji On The Beach, Sunny Deol was very impressed with the work of Gurinder Chadha, so he took her on. London was supposed to be the first ever time Sunny and Bobby Deol face the camera together; Karishma Kapoor was meant to be the main heroine. Due to a disagreement, which turned out to be a huge arguement actually teared the whole project apart, the film was compete by 30%. The film was shelved and Sunny made a new project called Dillagi which he had directed himself and casted himself and his brother and where to be on screen togther for the first time.
Loveria (2000) Starring: Saif Ali Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Mohnish Behl and Paresh RawalAnother delayed 1990's film that they didnt release. The film was directed by the talented director Kundan Shah, who made hits like Kya Kehna and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. The film was already delayed to start off with, the producers decided that something should be done to film now that it was made. In 2000, the director and producers had got into an argument due to the fact that the film never got a release. The producers had scrapped the whole film before post production as they lost faith in it. (Loveria is an ABCL production which has been lying for release for a very long time. The last time we went to the shoot of the film, it had just three days work left and that was over three years ago. Loveria is a breezy romance set in Mumbai. The film has Karishma as a maid and Saif Ali Khan as a driver. But both of them in a bid to woo each other pretend that they are very rich. "It is a different kind of a film. There are other commercial elements in the film. But I am sure that you will all love it," says Kundan Shah.)
Kisi Se Dil Laga Ke Dekho (2000) Starring: Shahrukh Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, MadhooAnother SRK film which was shelved during the right time of his career. The film was orignally under production during 1996 and had completed 10-12 reels by 1998; Madhoo from the Phool Aur Kaante fame, had played a supporting role in this film. The producer had ran out of money to complete the film and was impossible to carry on. In 2000, the film was annonced to release but SRK had finished the rumors by saying the film was not going release as he too was looking foward to it as he loved the script.
Yeh Pyar Hi Toh Hai (2001) Starring: Saif Ali Khan, Pooja Bhatt and Atul AgnihotriAt one point of time none of these stars could carry a film on their shoulders but Saif's career got a new lease of life after Farhan Akthar's Dil Chata Hai. The producers of Yeh Pyar Hi Toh Hai tried to capitalize on this sudden success and started some old trailers of the film but again the film could not get released, probably the film has an old look, the film may have worked for the superb song Inta Bhi Naa Chaho Mujhe by Kumar Sanu. Also said to be the last big budget film Pooja Bhatt had worked in.
Deewana Tere Naam Ka (2000) Starring: Akshaye Khanna, Karishma Kapoor, Kader Khan, Satish ShahStarted in 1997, Akshaye Khanna and Karishma Kapoor were both commited to this film by Rajat Rawail. The producer was going through a finacial problem during the time and eventually made the film. In 2000, the film was published to release but the film was stuck, now 7 years later the film is still looking for a release or not. The film looks like a typical 1990's film with the normal comedy by Kader Khan.
