this film is apparently being renamed "yeh ishqiya nahi asan"

there were so many expletives in the film that some promos had bleeping going off every minute. Reports are that the film is being reshot with the expletives deleted.

'Reports' appear to be wrong - the film has released in India with an 'A' certificate, and the original title intact.

Any idea why this hasn't released in England? (Well, it's not showing anywhere in Birmingham).

The same reason why Murder, Johnny Gaddar and Dev.D did not release in this country. Low release :(

Saw the film yesterday and loved it. Abhishek Chaubey is definately a director to watch out for and Ishqiya is one of the best debut films by a director, I have seen in a long time. The performances from the entire cast is top notch, as would be expected. Technically also the film is top notch with the background score deserving a special mention.

Watched it finally. Long over due .
It was decent watch. Vidya, arshad and naseer are absolutely natural in their roles. Dialogues were intentionally written crude.
Some part of the film reminds you of Ijazat and amazing to see how good is shah. He was hero then and is hero now!"
One of the best actor Bollywood ever produced!
