A lot of soundtracks got released last week, tried to listen to all.

Namely a variety might be worth listening:

Mere Baap Pehle Aap..Typical Pretam AffairSubhan allah is my fav. God saves us from Sunidi's item numbers( I close my ears or throw away CD )

YRF simillar film to rama rum pum...Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic by SEL, just so so, occasional glimmer(disappointing, except qawali number)

De Taali...Enjoyabletimes @ by VS

Ada..by AR R, trying desperately to meet One Two Ka 4, but fails miserably. Lyrics are too weak, singing screechy at time, not entirely fresh/orig, loose steam mid ways..nevertheless better han every thing else in the market..7.5/10

Jaane tou ya Jaane Na..Rehman..Decent too.

Others Khushboo, Woodstock Villa.

Meherbaan is the best track on Ada. Otherwise, not a great soundtrack, but not one of ARR's worst. I've been listening to Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na a lot more.

I agree! There are a few good, some average, seems inspired, others really dull. So overall, average to good better than competitors though. I do not think, Rehman had his heart in these.

Last Wholesome for me was MEENAXI, fresh, orig, good lyrics

Been listening to Jaane tou ya Jaane Na and thought it was quite good. Had a listen to De Taali & Ada and those are okay too.

Vidyasagar and Tauseef Akhtar apparently:
http://www.indiafm.com/movies/cast/13799/index.html

I didn't bother with this cos the title track sounded crap, and sounded like a rip off of a song from Dhamaal.

Quite like the soundtracks of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and De Taali, not really been able to get into Ada yet.

I agree! Thanks! De Taali, and YRF/SEL albums are huge disappointments, they loose you on repeated hearings. Rehman's albums usualy draw u into on repeated hearing, but imho, Ada, NTJNH fails to do so, but still have their moments. After a long hiatus and tons of time Rehman too, fails to come up with a wholesome soundtrack though. It all seems chal chalao, time pass!

Forgot to mention that I gave the album of thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic a listen to the other day.......and I won't be revisiting that one in a hurry. Pity that Shankar Ehsaan Loy have ditched all originality in favour of typical YRF tunes.

After watching the film, the soundtrack of Khuda Kay Liye is really growing on me though.

Typical on its worse, I like Tashan, AN an days over it, and Ta Ra rum was more humable.

Ada, for its North meets South feel, some times out dated but still melodious! Sonu rocks, alka , Sunidhi..welcome! Udit sucks, missed Madhshri though. I was ok with Rehman singing too. It is not on par of ONE TWO KA FOUR , capable of putting another feather in Rehman;s cap, but still, better than the best by others. Imho hangs some where in middle of One Two and Tehzeeb!

I did not develop same feelings, for the other PAPU SAALA!

Usually I put my hands up, when Rehman takes the microphone but I could listen easy " Mehraban!

My personal favorite is HAWA SUN! Sonu is mesmerizing! reminds me of Khamoshiyan from ONE TWO KA FOUR but not even close. :D

Following up! Tried to give my ears to Kismat Connection, and Anu's UGLI PAGLI.

ANU is OUT OF FORM for good even if copying!lol.

Kismat, Preetam ki non happening for me.

Newer are: Singh is King  heavy Punjabi flavor possibly a bit too heavy, but Akshay is on role, might be non stopable.

Bachna aey haseeno, from YRF kitchen, by Vishal Shekhar this time, after boring NON MAGIC by SEL.

Imho, only saving grace is deja vu of : Kishore's Bachna aey haseeno..Yrf made them do, another Karz into OSO, but failed!
