So come again. What makes it a "SEQUEL", the fact that the title will be called 'Kaante 2'?

perhaps somewhat like Munnabhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munnabhai -- same characters in very different universes. A little like Golmaal and Golmaal Returns.

Perhaps, it's simply a ploy to ride on kaante's success.

All said and done, they are positioning it as a sequel -- guess will just have to wait for truth to reveal itself. (and so the double quotes in the topic title.)
