I've never been so nervous in my life! (well, I have, but not in a long time, and last time was due to an illness in the family) heh. this is strange.

The first song is pretty scary for kids (It is lot like hymming "sama vedam", if you heard sama vedam hymming!). my daughter started crying. I have to explain to her that it is a "slokam" to convince her.

No - I havent heard the song, but they sent me a sample promo CD to play in the store (they should have sent this 2 months back!) and that itself has this effect.

FYI, I already sent NBT, HTNI and MX for review by some music college here. Next week I am sending Hey Ram, Guru (malayalam) and TIS for review as well. Initial review by these folks are very good.

Sad thing is I am out of stock on Music Journey. I asked them to express it, but it wont come until Tuesday. Lot of demand for MJ aswell.

Today I got the CD at 10AM. I kept the CD in front of god's pictures (formality that we do when we buy anything new, but this is the first time I have done for CD). I opened it and played in my car (has JBL speakers, much better than my sony HT).

Probably half hour past I got a call from someone. I had no idea who called me, but still I talk to them comfortably for close to a minute, then I realized its dvdisoil. It was almost impossible for me to divert from listening to the song to anything else, for one, due to curiosity, and for two THIS IS THE MOST COMPLEX COMPOSITION I have ever listened to.

dvdisoil asked me how the songs are... at that time I had no clue. I dont know if I have to say good, because at first hearing you like them, or okay because its beyond my musical knowledge/sense. I even dont know what made me to say this, but I said "you just go with the it". This is the same feeling I have after repeated hearing (probably 4 times). I am going to give 9 hour break and start tomorrow morning again.

I have a student working in my store. He is a "Kewl" type guy and he listened to 3rd song repeatedly. 3rd song is about love and he is probably in love now! What I am trying to say is it is a music for everyone. If you want just pure hymming, listen to 1st song. If you are a music genius and want more, go to 2nd song. If you are a young guy and in romance, go to 3rd song. Its an album for all.

In every report I saw, they talked about 2nd song a lot. With so much HUGE expectation, I listened to it and I wasnt sure if it was that great.

Now I am in Day 3 and I am telling you, this song will haunt you, so does the first song. My daughter who intially was scared of the 1st song, is singing the first one (in her "mazhalai slang") all the time. Each cell in my brain is filled with Ponnar song. For this song, IR has really melted his voice. This is THE song of the millenium.

It was a pleasant surprise to see a package from DVDU on Tuesday. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to the CD yet, but I will soon. The regular edition is packed in a clear slimline DVD case, the kind often used for TV box sets on DVD.

Once again, thanks to DVDU for helping to get this product to us :D
