It was some Akhtar - sounded like Fahran's sister - They actually had this credit at the beginning of the movie. Didnt notice "Hairstyle" in the credits of other movies

Hairstyles were by Farhan's wife: Adhuna Bhabani-Akhtar (in an attempt to recreate a youth-look from ’98-’99). Her salon: "Juice", was also responsible for the hairstyles in Dil Chahta Hai.

But the film features other extremely talented actors like Om Puri, Lilette Dubey and specially Amitabh Bachchan in glorified cameos. Boman Irani's comparatively more spacious part as Hrithik's father never gets going. The father-son conflict, like the Hrithik-Preity love story, is woven into the battle with free-flowing facility.

Bachchan is a special disappointment. He has neither the space nor the chance to grow beyond the space provided. The only actor who makes some impression beyond the all-pervasive impact of Hrithik's main performance, is Sushant Singh as the Muslim soldier. Singh features in one of the film's slyly jingoistic moments when a Pakistani voice on the phone asks the Indian soldier if he's a Muslim. "Right now, I'm only an Indian," is the rabble-rousing reply.

toddly lol, i objected to these atrocious hait styles, way long ago, preity fans were ready to bite my head off!!

ANd no one wanted to LISTEN TO ME! that HRITHIK did look RETARDED in this film!! Yuk!!

okay, so they suck..but preity looked cute with the curly hair not the short cut..that really looked bad on her

btw, I haven't seen the film...just judging by pics and promos..

Chirpy Ji!! Despite Bad hairs!! etc, I think ARMAAN was GRACIOUS FILM, had some STRONG POINTS! But was not EVERY ONE's CUP OF TEA!!

I WILL MOST LIKELY LAKSHYA TOO?, but there r people who simply ADORED DCH and DID NOT LIKE LAKSHYA(found it boring)

haven't seen the movie yet. but hearing it's a thinking movie and some people did not like it all. All i think is that these people must be the ones who probably like Mithun & Govinda starrer films.. like "Akhiyon Se Goli Maare".

Don't miss your chance to register your wish to see more Hindi Films in theatres in Ottawa. As it is, after a long time a Hindi film is playing in a regular theatre (and a good one too) in Ottawa and we must register our wish by patronizing the theatrical showing (AMC Kanata).

Unfortunately, the show I went for, had only us 4 in the theatre. Must send more. Whether I liked this film or not, I might see it again in the process of encouraging my friends to see it in the theatre. Today being a Tuesday, ticket prices are discounted.
