ASAMBHAV..TECHNOVISION, was altogether another class, I have never experienced in hindi film projection before!!

I guess, you mean, it's exceptionally good technically.

A tecnical marvel, then it must be worth a watch in theatre, no matter how bad the film reviews.

I saw this in TARAN ADARSH's REVIEW who absolutely TRASHED THE FILM otherwise!

"Yes, ASAMBHAV is an apt case of body beautiful, minus soul. The film is one of the slickest products to hit the Indian screens in the recent times, but how about giving us an equally inspiring content?"

Asambhav had only 2 shows this week (2nd week) at Albion Woodside combined (remainder shows were for MSK) and now, only 2 more shows (Sat Sun 1:00 PM Woodside only) in the coming weekend. Last chance to see it in theatre for its techno-marvel.

Albion-Woodside site is not working. Phone recording gives show times for Fri, Tue thru Thursday but none for Sat, Sun Monday. (May be they are closed for Sat Sun Mon).

Can some one please check if Albion & Woodside have any shows this (Sept 4 to Sept 6, 2004) Sat Sun Monday?? If yes, what are the show times??

Thanks.

Asambhav is long gone. Can't believe MSK is gone too. Wanted to catch out of Rakht, Dhoom and Fida. They are 'ON' but I don't get any show times for the long weekend. No trip if no shows.

When I asked whether Dhoom is in DTS (Woodside & Albion have DTS and no DD), Woodside management complained that despite insisting on DTS prints, distributors here never send them a DTS disc. They said, this affects their business as well.

(BTW, they do get DTS discs for Tamil films.)

After Kyon Ho Gya Naa, now DIL NE JISE APNA KAHA is showing in main stream theatres in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. At Albion-Woodside in Toronto as well.

Phir Milenge too has started screening at Albion-Woodside from today ( 3rd week of its release everywhere else)

Saw an interview clip on TV.

Albion-Woodside Manager mentioned opening a new cinema with stadium seating in Missisauga. He mentioned it to be state of the art. Let's hope it has DD sound as well as DTS sound and is powerfull enough to mathch Big Screen Big Sound theatres.

When others improve service and all, these clowns get shittier by the years :O ...typical indian mentality, and the typical indian public still pay 10 bucks for dungy chutney smelling seats. C'mon people raise your standards only then will these clowns understand that todays Desi wants substance not bullshit..

I think its an indian mentality in foreign land. Theatres in india are now a days much more advanced than this. Sathyam recently upgraded their theatre to show MX in digital format - so invested on a USD 30000 projector. They have a family/personal coupe tickets, which are sold for over 300 but you get a recliner - no one to disturb and service people to help you with the snacks etc. They are also working on a family room kinda box with bathroom attached so ppl can just sit - relax and watch movies.

Finally its good to know that ppl pay 10 for indian movies. Here its 12 for tamil movies :(
