Lara Dutta falls in love with hotshot industrialist Karan Singhania (Aman Varma)

Is it only me or did some one else think it too that Aman Verma looks like (including facial expressions) and acts like young Dilip Kumar in half of his scenes??

Arsh, as per you whats the defination of a hit or flop movie.I am not asking good or bad movie. so far you have not given your reviews for Andaaz but provided reviews of other viewers or critics.I feel collection is the ri9ght crieteria for a hit or flop movie. Collection is not a crieteria for evaluating good or bad movies. So tell me HMBPK was a bad or flop or hit or good movie as per your opinion. :ffs:

Many of the earlier reviews mentioned 'not so good music' for ANDAAZ. Later music reviews were mixed. Some saying it's good, some saying, it's not that good.

I had not heard the music before I went to see ANDAAZ in the theatre. I liked the songs picturization. Songs and picturization went smooth. No one left for the stalls. Later on, I heard ANDAAZ songs in Hi Fi. First time, music seemed just ordinary with 'Rabba Ishq Na Hovey', somewhat catchy. Now, for not so catchy songs, the audience glued to the screen shows how good, interesting and appropriate the songs were in the movie.

In repeat listening, the songs are growing on me, with 'Rabba Ishq Na Hovey' song threatning my Hi Fi.

Well!1 I think, we can be friends..As I said..HMBPK, score was gOOD!!

ANDAAZ music repetitive of N-S but still, HUMMABLE, lot better than their other recent tracks, Yeh Dil, Indian Babu, JSML, and QAYAMAT!!

I loved listening to vIOLIN, in song" aayega maza ab barsaat maen"" those voilin piece are so melodious!

N-S give BETTER score to Darshan Brothers..while TALAASH done by their Sapoots, S-D was tad inspired by N_S style, but not on par with ANDAAZ!!

just finished watching the movie on dvd...pirate copy ofcourse with ads every 10 minutes. I just want to ask any paki's here on the board what the hell "Pain Gay" is? it was the ad that featured through out this dvd & looked like some balm or something, can someone explain?

ok to the movie itself. well it was not good & it wasn't bad either. you can watch it once, enjoy the songs, Priyanka Chopra..hmmm...damn this girl is hot! story is quiet predictable & i felt the ending was rushed when some of the scenes in the start & before interval could have been cut. overall a time pass movie.

the dvd kept freezing towards the end & hence the dialouges didn't make much sense. Not expecting any better quality from the "official" dvd but atleast i wont have to go thru those Pain Gay ads again :ffs:

Priyanka, Lara are hot property

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/cms.dll....id=3811

At a time, when most Hindi films, irrespective of the cast, banner and budgets have been getting brickbats from the viewers, here's one film that's raised many eyebrows. Starring Akshay, closely flanked by hot-hot sex symbols Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta, this film seems to have splashed colour back to the morbid grey hues that have tainted the industry.

Andaaz has scored 92.88 per cent collections in the first week in Mumbai, and that's certainly quite a record. Like the soaring summer heat, let's hope this one keeps getting hotter and hotter!

??? Rediff graduated ANDAAZ to a HIT, this week, from AVERAGE last week.

Well, first week collections are already more than the cost of the film (10 crore; Indiafm). I think, they (Rediff) are still off the mark. A film which recovers its cost in the first week and still going strong, is sure a Super Hit if not Super Duper Hit.
