Tamil rehash - not 100% but you get the feeling that you have listened to it somewhere. I dont want to compare the songs. In short its NOT an ARR album.

Loose Control (paathshala) will be a big hit than Rang De Basanti on second hearing. Has some Yuva hangover. This is a good loop song.

If I didnt mention before, Lata ARR song is horrible.

keep the expectation low and you will ike it.

I am getting chills!! I am not ready for Lakeer or Yuva..ooga booga type songs!! :(

1 Bhangra
1 ARabic - lyrics in arabic. resembels Hey rubba hey rubba song by vidyasagar
1 spanish/south american
2 usual ARR melody (very low instruments to no instruments)
2 fast peppy

has little bit of yuva hangover in instrumentals. most of them are natural instruments for a change (except the percussions).

After few listenings - average album. from business point of view, this will be a let down, just like MP.

Expectations are pretty low...now a days I have more expectations for a YSR album than an ARR one.

true though, atleast in tamil. arr's next few movies are also not on high side, except Shivaji (due to Shankar) and Dasavatharam (Kamal)

even if ARR makes crappy music from now I will still consider him a genius. He has already made enough great ones for a lifetime. I don't ask anymore from him. :)

followed by bhangra
followed by rest of the songs - Nah to Lataji song.

Currently listening to the songs. They're okay, though you have to listen a couple of times to decide whether or not you like them. The Lata-ARR duet isn't half bad, due to her singing within her range. I hope she's not picturized on Soha Ali Khan though.

after many many many listening, I relaly like this album. Its not the great, but its definitely different. cruise control, if taken nicely, will rock. sales for this is all time low. The days of people running to the shop to buy arr songs are over. now they buy only for SRK.

Truth is dvdu, ppl who would buy this kind of music, no longer buys music, Its just more convenient to download the mp3 and put it in your ipod....who listens to CDs anymore? Seriously I bought a bunch of CDs of ARR and some others, but I rarely listen to them, because mp3 is much more convenient.

I guess people who buy the SRK music are like adults and ladies mostly.

I listen to the album once, and all the songs are unique. So there probably won't be many takers among the ppl who listen to the remix kind of music dished out in Hindi.

This is exactly what IR fans said and convinced themselves when ARR came  Circle of life. Anyways, I liked this album. This morning, I really liked the Rang De Basanti bhangra again. I really started liking DM's voice.

I haven't heard anything about that, but its a possibility. Maybe it will be dubbed to Telugu, since Siddharth is getting pretty popular in AP. Madhavan's Dil Vil Pyar Vyar was dubbed to Tamil.

Thanks 4 the welcome, but I'll always remain a fan. When I get dissappointed I just go back and listen to Roja or Kandukondein or Alaipayuthe.. Nobody makes music like that. 8)
