Mahesh Bhatt - The Gentleman - they actually pasted scenes from the Tamil original into the Hindi version.

Manoj Kumar - Clerk (a rehash of Roti Kapada Aur Makaan didn't work in 1989)

Yash Chopra - Parampara (Trishul Redux), Dil To Pagal Hai (painful to watch)
