Didn't Raj Kumar have Dharm Kanta in 70's as well :?

Dharam Kanta was released in 1982 and yes it did feature Raaj Kumar along with Rajesh Khanna & Jeetender.
I think it was also the last movie that Naushad scored the music for.

Didn't Naushad do the music for a couple of films in the 90s? Off the top of my head, I think they were Guddu with SRK and Manisha Koirala, and Tere Payal Mere Geet with Govinda and Meenakshi Sheshadri

Yes - he did score for those films - but Naushad's last film was Akbar Khan's Taj Mahal (unless you also count the re-release of Mughal-E-Azam)

Wasn't DK a copy of Sholay with Raj Kumar doing the role of Thakur?

Excuse me! If you will, Akbar Khan's Taj Mahal( DUMB/NUMB, NO SHAKES), was all in and out UTAM SINGH behind the face of NAUSHAD on the poster. While Singh was supposed to be "arranger". No doubt Singh did help Naushad Sahab in remastered MUGHL E AZAM soundtrack recently for COLOR CRAP, with re arrangements( I liked that). There is NO JUICE left in Maestro him self..period.

The tune for the ghazal that Hariharan sang was composed by Naushad many years ago.
