My wife has been bugging me for months to see this. And since I love Priyanka and like most of Bhandarkar's work (Aan and Satta aside), I am willing to trudge to the cinema for it. Thankfully, it is playing at local AMC.

Wonder why anyone would think this film merits release as a Diwali release though? It's not exactly brimming with happiness and festivities according to the shocking trailers.

Caught it last night.... and must say it is Bhandarkar's best since Chandni Bar. Very watchable and surprisingly quite entertaining. He keeps his talent for taking jibes at everyone (including himself) and keeping the tone of the flick real. But with a bigger budget than normal, he really shines.

I found the fashion shows at first quite enjoyable - thanks to the eye candy ladies - but by the umpteenth one, only my wife was having fun watching the wares.

The film is somewhat over-long, but Priyanka more than compensates with a role of a lifetime. She seems to understand her Meghana inside out, and I'm glad to see her back in form. She may find it difficult to better this performance in her career, though.

And Mughda, where have you been the last few years? What I wouldn't give for all of Bebo's producers and directors to replace that untalented hack with this gorgeous beauty. She's got dimples nearly as cute as Preity, a body that rocks and a sincere welcoming presence. And in a Yashraj film of old, she'd be perfect. Oops, gotta stop gushing.

Only Kangana's performance annoys. It's the millionth time for her playing the same character, and the only gaali she knows is "You b*****." Though admittedly, you fully understand why she commands superstar status in the modeling world with her presence on the ramps.

Just don't take your little kids to the flick. It really should have an audience only 13+ only.

9/10

I just saw a clip, it seems Kangna has a better etched role?
