Caught this movie last night. Very nice story, premise and great acting by Will Smith and his son. Tugs at your heart strings. But not a film you will want to see over and over again.

In any case the reason for this post is I noticed in a scene the Indian actor Keith Stevenson(played the villain in Ramesh Sippy's AKEYLA, yeah the twins) for a 2 second part. What the hell is this guy doing in a Hollywood movie and that too such a miniscule role. I know Keith worked as an executive at an advertising agency in India(Lintas if I am not mistaken) and dabbled in theatre and the odd movie here and there. What has intrigued me is this :

1 - Does this have anything to do with Will Smith's visit to India and his interest in collaborating with filmmakers there?
2 - Has Keith Stevenson moved to the USA like Ranjit Chaudhary(though technically he moved to Canada)
3 - Did he reach there via Israel(long shot this) since he is actually jewish like David and Nadira.

Its awfully surprising for some hot shot ad exec to be doing bit parts in a Hollywood movie. A newcomer I can understand. He was not even a fulltime actor. Does anyone know?

PS: I just looked up on IMDB he also stars in the following Indian movies which I have seen and remember him from :
TRIKAL(great role actually, he plays a doctor)
