After Blak, Bride And Prejudice (North America) and Bewafa fairing well, it's a non "B" film Socha Naa Tha seem to be going well.

One quote from First Day First Show reaction sums it all:

http://www.indiafm.com/broadband/05/mar ... ndex.shtml

However what best expresses the vibe of the film is a young guy’s remark, “Film itni achi hogi, Socha Na Tha!”

BTW, Taran Adarsh, from the same Indiafm site says:

SOCHA NA THA could've been an ideal popcorn flick targeted at the youth, but it misses the bus. At the box-office, don't expect much!

Rating:- * ½.
---------------------------

Lets see who misses the Bus. Socha Na Tha ---- or Taran

i think TARAN adarsh needs to be in a mental institute. Its a fab film and definitely worth watching more than once. i myself saw the film at its premiere in pune and then saw it again today when it released. its a really cute film and films of this genre are made very less in hindi film industry. no plunging cleavage or cheap sex potrayal here. just a sweet story of first love with a lot of twists and turns that keeps the viewer engrossed all throughout. its fast and has wonderful performances from the whole starcast, here ayesha takia, abhay deol and ayesha jhulka( as abhay's bhabhi) deserve a special mention. the director has done a marvellous job of capturing the innocence of first love and there is a certain realism in the movie
,i.e., the dialogues are very much how people speak in real life sans the melodrama and filmy pana so evident in even in the best of the films that are made in india. and god the film is sooooo funny at places its real fun to watch its to be watched in a theatre with friends. you'll have a ball

well finally i would say its a Great movie that deserves to be seen in the theatres so that more such movies are made. whether you want to go for a movie with your family or are planning a date with your special someone, SOCHA NA THA is the best option right now and it will also help you forget the tragic memories of last week's crapfest BEWAFAA.

i dont know what would be its result at the box office, but it would surely not be a flop. and its collections would most probably go up by the day due to word of mouth appreciation. and so would the music sales, which will skyrocket . lets hope for the best, its a decent film. and SCREW TARAN ADARSH, that gay idiot has gone whacko  :D :D :D
