Harbhajan Mann proves loyal fan base in the UK!

The demand for Punjabi cinema is increasing in the UK. ‘Asa Nu Maan Watan Da’ recently attracted a decent audience during its release on the big screen. Starring Harbhajan Mann and Kirandeep Kimmi, the family film made a respectable £34,031 in its first weekend of release. This figure meant it debuted at number 16 in the UK box office charts.

It's showing 3 shows daily in main stream Cineplex Odeon in Ottawa. Must be playing in Toronto main stream theatres too. From coming Friday, it's coming to Albion-Woodside in Toronto. (No Hindi Yuva??)

You may remember Radio Sargam recently reported on the British box office success of the Punjabi film ‘Asa Nu Maan Watan Da’. Starring Harbhajan Mann and Kirandeep Kimmi, the family film debuted at number 16 in the UK box office charts a while back. Interestingly the film is still attracting an audience and has actually managed to peak at its highest position in the charts yet! It’s now at number 15 and its collections are a respectable £137,533!
