Taran Adarsh has given the film ONE star, I say that in itself is reason to believe that the film has potential. :)

He also gave the mediocre KHNH 4 stars. Then he says
pseudo critics might like Tehzeeb, after calling "Autumn
Sonata" a 'flick' and later a classic. :bangbang: :sus:

I do believe Taran Adarsh has some axe to grind with Khalid Mohammed. I believe in that warped mind of his he thinks somehow, just because he 'does' reviews, he's perhaps on par with KM and hence knows much more about film making than him....I remember when FIZA was released he was on Shekar Suman's erstwhile show 'Movers and Shakers' and took special pleasure in how he had torn to shreds a 'fellow' reviewer's debut movie in his review. Needless to say he didn't have the 'balls' to name KM, calling him simply 'ek film critic jinhon ne movie banaayi hain'.....strange that. He went on to say that later when the two met at a function, KM 'turned' his face away because of the aforementioned bad review he had given.....

Adarsh seems to have a king sized ego to go with the pea sized brain he has been endowed with.....I ain't trying to take up cudgels on KM's film making abilities, but one thing is for sure, KM is a FAR superior film critic than Adarsh will ever hope to be in this birth and as far as the show he used to anchor on latest releases on TV (that B4U has long stopped airing) the less said the better!

To borrow Vikram Seth's advice to Amitav Ghosh when he was teacher to Ghosh at Doon School and attempted to show his poetry writing skills. Seth suggested he try writing it on a match box !!! That's exactly the amount of space Adarsh needs to be given for his moronic views !!

BTW guys the above example is only anecdotal and not verifiable so dont flame me please ;-), but somehow the advice is appropriate for the subject under discussion.
