Khakee Announces Release Plans ,Race With Aan Still On

It seemed to be a figment of the media´s imagination but the story that Rajkumar Santoshi´s , Khakee and Madhur Bhandarkar´s , Aan-Men At Work were in competetion with each other to hit the screen first , seems to be coming true . Both the cop films are inching their ways to the completion point and the post production work of the two films is also on in full swing .
While Aan was started first , Khakee marched ahead with amazing speed . Considering that it is Santoshi , who is at the helm of affairs in Khakee , this is quite unusual because the director is known to take ages to complete a film . The Legend Of Bhagat Singh was his only film which was over in a matter of a few months but that , one thought , was because there were countless others making films about the legendery freedom fighter at that time . It now seems that Santoshi has started beleiving in faster deliveries as a rule.
Going by the brisk pace at which both Rajkumar Santoshi and Madhur Bhandarkar , are trying to reach the finishing line it may not be a surprise if the two came to the theaters either around the same time in November/December or , may be ,even on the same day! .
Meanwhile the makers of Khakee have formally announced that they would be coming on Idd( Last week of November) , a date on which Shahrukh Khan´s Kal Ho Na Ho is also tentatively scheduled to release , thereby setting up an interesting clash , if both do release on the same date .
