Saw this the other day, hugely disappointing. Simple storylines are fine, but this was just boring IMHO. Am surprised it got such decent reviews all around, not just from Adarsh.

'Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi' Has Poor First Week
31 August 2012

Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi collected a poor 9 crore nett approx in week one. The film was steady with low collections over the weekdays and even that was mainly due to better collections in Mumbai city.

The film held some appeal in Mumbai city but had not takers elsewhere.

The second week may be decent at some Mumbai multiplexes but overall collections will be down as its out of many theatres after a week's run.

The collections in the Central belts of India were awful as the combined figure first week figure for CP Berar, CI and Rajasthan is just 75 lakhs approx.

8 September 2012

'Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi' collected around 2.50 crore nett in week two taking its business to around 12 crore nett. FLOP
