Remember Ameen Sayani's Binaca Geetmala Radio Program ??

A few CD sets, based on that program, have been available for a while (30 CDs so far), under the title "Geetmala Ki Chhaon Mein". So far, he has covered, until 1969. Hopefully, remainder will be coming out in due course. Can't wait for those.

I was surprised to find another of his new program, Sangeet Ke Sitaron Ki Mehfil on radio.

Still, the same magical voice. I knew of this program being broadcast locally but someone had told me that it's from the Geetmala Ki Chhaon Mein CDs, so never bothered to catch it on radio. Recently, I got to see one of those segments and it was a totally different program and equally, or perhaps a little more interesting than Geetmala. Don't know, how many such programs I missed. I hope, those programs that I missed becomes available on CD or elsewhere.
