Have a funny feeling the film is a remake of John Carpenter's Someone's Watching Me

This is also an old thread, but i watched this today, so.
I liked Apartment. OK, it's not on any top ten 2010 list (or top 30 either i guess) but
it was very enjoyable and nicely done.
I don't think Bollywood Crime films get their proper due. When visiting Bollywood film forums
there's always just the blockbusters people are writing about, or in some cases the great art movie ones.
But i think Bollywood makes great or good crime-thrillers and even the B-studio type ones.
Seldom boring and nearly always enjoyable.
A nice version of US 1992 Single White Female. The actors were good: Anupam Kher was great as the old
friendly neighbour (macho police officer roles as A Wednesday and Striker etc. don't suit him as well), Rohit Roy
was fine as the boyfriend, ex-beauty queen Tanushree Dutta was so good and likeable in the Bridget Fonda role
that you really cared for her and Neetu Chandra was good (hot and scary) as the psycho lodger.

An expert in korean martial arts and sensationally hot, wow. How does Bollywood do it? To get legions of models
and beaty queens to act and actually work nicely in a film? in their genes maybe
