Guru Dutt remembered

By Taran Adarsh, September 02nd, 2004 - 1450 hrs IST

Guru Dutt Films P. Ltd. is celebrating its 50th golden jubilee year. While the Government of India is releasing a postage stamp to commemorate the occasion and H.M.V. is releasing a special music album of Guru Dutt's films, Arun Dutt [son of Guru Dutt] and other family members of late Guru Dutt are organizing an exhibition of rare photographs on September 4 in Juhu.
-------------------------------------------

Does it mean Guru Dutt Films still in Business??
If not in film production, at least in maintaining Guru Dutt Films' films and assets/ interests??

(I couldn't find their web site.)

How about releasing good quality DVDs of his movies. I can't believe that a film-maker who is famous for his unique photography styles would be happy with the junk DVDs released by YRF. Would love to re-buy the entire Guru Dutt collection as long as the transfers are decent.
