Subhash Ghai has thought of a novel way to fight audio piracy. In a path-breaking move, Ghai's company, Mukta Arts Ltd., is releasing copy control audio CDs of their latest venture JOGGERS PARK, in association with Virgin Records on May 24. That means, the pirates can't copy or download the music of the film. If this move succeeds, Ghai would set a precedent in Bollywood!

Subhash Ghai makes music

After production and distribution, Subhash Ghai and Mukta Arts are all set to venture into the realm of music. Ghai distributed his Ek Aur Ek Gyarah by opening offices across the country. For his latest Hinglish venture Jogger's Park, Ghai will also release the music of the film. He has set up Mukta Audio Division under the Mukta banner for this purpose. The film has two songs in English and rest in Hindi. The music will be released on Virgin Records in the last week of May and the film is slated for a July release.

perhaps his idea is similar to the one they tried introducing here before - where the copy protection could be removed by a market? :p
