In my never ending search for Bengali DVDs, I came across a website based in India - http://www.induna.com. They've got a reasonably wide range of Indian VCDs and DVDs, at reasonable prices (not checked shipping costs though). Just thought I'd post the link here just in case anyone was interested.

Induna looks nice. Their national shipping rates are cheap. And they have some difficult to locate DVDs like Shwaas, My Brother Nikhil etc...Hoping their shipping will be on time.

Shipping (although expensive) has been spot on every time I've ordered from them. Placed an order with them last Thursday, and received it on Monday. If only the shipping was a bit cheaper.....!!

Its not bad compared to the rest of the websites, I mean Nehaflix's rate these days is something like 10-12 dollars for a single DVD!

Induna has to be the best online site for indian dvds so far.

I'm glad to hear positive reviews of this site. I e-mailed them about finding some rare films for me last week since they advertise a rare movie locating service. I hope they're successful in their search.

I asked someone if they could find Hathyaar (1989) on DVD or VCD and no hope

Hathyar VCD is available at Linux Bazar. Though the cover art given is of the 2002 movie, other details match the JP Dutta version. May be you should mail them and confirm this.

On the help page under the FAQ it says:

Got the DVDs today. They shipped from West Bengal to Trivandrum in just 2 days which is really good considering MusicYogi's 4 day shipping from Bangalore. The courier used was Blue Dart, with online tracking too. Overall I am very much impressed.

If only they offered something similar to "free shipping for Rs.500 and above" like MusicYogi, I would be permanently switching to them.

$ 14.78 - Including shipping, i rather give it a miss.

If you buy a DVD from Nehaflix, you have to pay $10 plus the price of the DVD for one DVD - and that's for standard mail (quoted as 9-21 days to Europe) - so from that respect, I prefer paying Induna a few dollars extra for courier delivery to my door which usually takes a couple of days. Plus I've found that DVDs at Induna are generally cheaper.
