wouldn't the picture appear more smoother with reduced grain?

Udaan's PQ reminds me of Lionsgate's The Conversation (1974) where the transfer actually had a distorted ala faux grain look

It's a noise filter which leaves this mess behind. There are different kinds of filters. Grain filters are not same as noise filters. Use one where the other is "appropriate" or use it with wrong parameters and you get rubbish like on this disc.

This product(I'm not even calling it a "Blu-ray", it doesn't even meet the standards) is just plain bad! The UTV DVD I think even showcases a superior quality than the new Disney release. Totally avoid.
