Hopefully, this movie will eventually find its way onto Blu-ray 3D..It is a Vikram Bhatt movie (Raaz, Raaz 2) and 'Haunted 3D' should release in over 250-300 3D screens on May 6th. Do any of the big sellers have info regarding a possible Blu-ray 3D release for this title later in the year?

LOL, I suspect the movie will be a flop. I find Vikram Bhatt's horror movies very schizophrenic, with tons of crappy romance filler and songs, and really bad CG. Anyway, most Indian horror films are very nerfed, with cliched themes, bad lighting (aka night = blue filter) and rarely any real gore. They're only good for some unintended laughs.

I can't help but think that you may be right with your comments - the only reason I would be interested in such a purchase is to encourage the development of a Blu-ray 3D market in India by contributing to their sales. But thinking about it now, the Blu-ray 3D market even here in the U.S. is fledgling at best (I own about 25 Blu-ray 3D titles and I am pretty happy with them). I imagine I'll have to wait a lo..o..ng, long time before I see an Indian Blu-ray 3D movie release!

A little off topic, but I heard that Rajnikanth's animated film Hara (It was Sultan the Warrior) will be in 3D. That would be really cool!

Indian Blu-Ray companies can't even get 2D right most of the time. I have no hopes for 3D

That was news to me - the name change to 'Hara' from 'Sultan - The Warrior' and the movie is in 3D too!
