Bahgban "a gem a masterpiece" ????
Need I say anymore...

Also, I should point out that "Make Way For Tomorrow" outdoes Bahgban in screenplay, performance and melodrama. Seriously check out the film and then make your comments.

PS) I love the cheesy films too...its all about entertainment... Endhiran...Sivaji aren't masterpieces nor great cinema, but I do find them entertainment...even though I have to leave my brain at the door...

Personally I thought that Baghban was a terrible movie. It is actually more of a copy of the original Indian copy of 'Make Way for Tomorrow' that was released in 1942 (Ghar Sansar).

The song placement and certain situations were direct lifts from the original 1942 released Indian movie and also some of the dialogues were lifted by the makers of Baghban.

So in terms of calling it a masterpiece ... I would beg to differ as it is a direct copy of a movie that was inspired by a Hollywood movie. The songs in Baghban were terrible too.

+1 Highly overcooked melodrama. Acting alone is not enough to make a bad movie any good. Tokyo Story is another masterpiece people should watch.

Watermark confirmed to be present throughout the movie.

WATERMARK = NO SALE

If I did not buy the 'Ishqiya' blu-ray due to the obnoxious watermark, I sure as hell am not going to buy this.

Crappy Movie, crappy music
No Sale for me

Watermark is still there, SHAME-ROO is relentless, so we can also be relentless till they listen... I also havent bought Ishqiya, due to watermark... Despicable business sense.

The age of DVD's has passed, but their mind sets have not... i wonder why

Crappy movie. Would not have mattered even if there were no watermarks. This was a no-buy for me anyway.
