I did not work on the Telugu blu-ray version of the film!

I think certain people want to associtate my name with this project... I guess my name means quality :)

I can reveal that the Telugu blu-ray version sucks big time. Colour timing is all wrong and the picture is cropped.

sunny bro
i dont think the picture is cropped
but colors are messed up
if u got proof of picture been cropped
show it to us

Honest to God, I have not seen a bigger screw up than this one for a commercialy successful movie in the name of bluray  We have been use to see such atrocities all the time with dvds, that bollywood dvd makers never got it right till today so might excuse with heavy heart the bad hindi dvd!

But In the name of bluray, such a bad transfer, half a resolution, cropped and mess is a MASSACRE:( It is bluray made from hindi dvd 9 instead.

How come on the earth a 480P Tamil dvd 9 can look better than telugu bluray? :o ( Issko bluray bolte bhi sharam lagti hai lol)

Its a shame that Telugu & Hindi gets released first. Tamil release has no news from any studio. Its a big let down.

I think Tamil goes like "Lateah vandalum latestah varuvom"..

Sun Pictures may want to reserve the Tamil version for thier HD channel. Perhaps this is the reason for the delay?

Erm, why such TINY screenshots? The compression makes it look like they're riddled with aliasing artifacts. Can't click on them to get full-res versions either. Please remedy so that a proper assessment of BD images can be done.

Edit: Screenshots are from some BD rip (post on blu-ray.com forums, where you can click on the thumbs to get 720p images). Hence it may not be correct to criticize the official release based on the screens.

Screenies of the rip look decent to my neophyte eyes - a little artificially sharp, less detail in shadows (was this film shot on film or digital?). I would put this on the same level as the Oye Lucky BD, which I was fine with as a purchase. Hopefully fullHD screens the and comments of experts here will come shortly :)
