Welcome to Zulm forums Chandna.
I am sure people would have sent you lots of feedback on the EROS BDs. Hopefully, the mistakes during the initial releases gets rectified in the future ones. I was baffled at the single 384 Kbps audio track and not even 640 Kbps leave alone DTS formats in Lage Raho Munna Bhai. What made you take that decision and ignore other formats? Please consider all the feedback from the people as positive. Many like me are just frustrated that they spent a lot of money on the discs and it turns out to be duds.
Cheers!
Hello Mr. Chandna, welcome to Zulm. It is nice to have you amongst us and we hope you will be open to the ideas and criticism that might come your way. The very fact that you are here indicates that you are a progressive and open person and hopefully we can be of help to each other.
Regarding the audio on a Blu-ray disk. Since BD comprises of both High definition AUDIO & video, it is imperative that all BDs have lossless HD audio along with 1080 24p video. Thus the only audio formats acceptable are 'DTS-HD Master Audio' or 'Dolby TrueHD' anything less is only DVD quality sound at best. Also, there are others, such as Sunny and Hafner, on this forum, who have a lot of experience and technological knowledge that you can tap into to help you achieve top notch quality video on your BDs.
Thanks and looking forward to your active participation here.
PS: On your website you have the following listed:
Quote:
Encoding for Standard & BluRay DVDs
That is not correct and it should read as 'Encoding For DVDs and Blu Ray discs'. Since DVD and Blu-ray are to totally seperate formats. Thus there is no such thing as a Blu-Ray DVD and all DVDs are Standard Definition only while all Blu-ray discs or BD in short are all High Definition only.
