The DVD watermark is there to prevent TV/Cable stations using the DVD for broadcast. This was the decision made by the CEO.

Our blu-ray's have new forms of security measures which don't require the use of watermarks.

but still Ayngaran's DVD are ripped off and sold in india as pirated dvds and these ayngaran's dvd's are broadcasted in local cable stations..These stations totally depend on ayngaran,sruthilayam and lotus five star which are the only source for transmission.
Cant Ayngaran release dvds at slashed price through AP international. i found latest Ap's Lover's spl vol 5 as ayngaran marketing and watermark as "Ayngaran Anak".
Another request is that these dvds should be subtitled.

They aren't hardcoded watermarks, just forced subtitles

What i like about Ayngaran blu-rays are they aren't with watermarks which makes feel good of the movies to watch.

@Sunny - I know its a bit early to ask...Any plan to release "Madrasapattinam" on Blu-Ray? It is rare to see these type of films in Tamil...
Very good movie with good direction from Vijay.
