I (and family) liked the film a plenty to see it 3-4 times in DD theatre, just for it's rocking songs.

Here are the details from YRF site:
http://www.yashrajfilms.com/OnlineStore ... 2248b9a91e

DISC 1: THE FILM

* Feature film in Anamorphic widescreen presentation
* 5.1 Dolby Digital Sound, DTS and Optional Stereo Sound
* Optional Subtitles In 8 Languages-
International: English / Arabic / French / Spanish / Dutch / Portuguese
Indian: Tamil / Malayalam

DISC 2: SPECIAL FEATURES

* Making of the Songs
* Song - Jhoom - Full edit without any breaks
* Song - Jhoom Jam - Full screen edit without end credits
* Deleted Scenes – “never-seen-before” scenes from the film
* Theatrical Trailer
* Television Promos
* Forthcoming Attraction

I saw this at the cinema last week and also thought it was very enjoyable. Looking forward to this DVD, particularly the DTS soundtrack (a first for YRF?). I'll even settle for PAL-to-NTSC as long as the colours aren't messed up.

Stephen, if you really expect it to be DTS, because listing says so, then what about "Optical Stereo" also listed for the DVD ??
-----------------------------
Oops! It was "Optional Stereo". No reason to doubt that. :oops:

I take it you meant 'optional' - "optical stereo" is a new one to me. ;)

Seriously though, I see no reason to doubt the listing. DTS is too specific a thing to advertise mistakingly.

Oops, my mistake. I thought it was "Optical Stereo" as listed.

DTS audio will be great. Let's hope it's true.

Honestly, I don't think DTS is necessary for Indian DVDs. I've noticed on several Prasad authored discs, Ayngaran and some Telugu discs that have had issues with DTS track. The DD track actually sounded much better. And typically, the DTS track FURTHER deteriorates video quality due to higher compression. I think this disc will be a dud. I dont understand why DVD's have a stereo track accompanied by a DD track?? I thought it's sufficient enough to have DD track to playback audio on TV sets?? as witnessed by home made discs??

I'd settle for a good DD5.1 track, if the video track is good

Not gonna see this movie it has the same Jhoom song repeated and remixed numerous times will surely give a headache, even though it’s an ok tune. Anyway I’m tired of seeing Amitabh doing these flop films.
