Saw the YRF "Devdas" disc today. Atrocious! The DVD preview doesn't even begin to show how bad this DVD is. Most of the film looks like that 5th screenshot, with absolutely no detail whatsoever in the dark parts of the frame. Somewhere behind this mess lurks some good cinematography. I only paid $2 to rent it and I still feel ripped off! And if Eros gets the Bhansali version, that makes two versions of "Devdas" that are screwed up.

LOL. Bharat Shah produced it so you shouldn't have been too surprised. So that means that the picture on your sig will look better than the DVD.
