I wonder why some famous old Indian films have not been launched on DVD. Like following Dilip Kumar films: Aag Ka Dariya, Ghar Ki Izzat, Hulchul, Jugnu, Jwar Bhata, Milan (Nauka Dubi), Musafir, Nadia Ke Paar, Pratima, Shabnam and Shikast. It seems Dharam Adhikari and Phir Kab Milogi have been released on DVD, but none of the venders seldom have them in stock. How come?. Also, why films like K.L. Saigal's Devdas are not available on DVD.

did Aag Ka Daariya ever got completed?

K.L. Saigal's movies were/are rare in VHS days, i dont think we will ever see them in DVD anytime soon. I personally am looking for Devdas (*ing Dharmendra, Hema Malini) for a long time.

I researched, and I think Aag Ka Dariya was completed eventually, as the same is available on VCD at webmallindia.com. I don't think Devdas was ever made with Dharmendra and Hema Malini. I checked Internet Movie Database (http://imdb.com/find?q=Devdas;s=tt) and there is no reference to this film there.

i don't think a vcd exists of AAG KA DARIYA as the film never found any takers on the distribution circuit and was "in production" as of March 1997. If someone can furnish this VCD I will also furnish my copy of bigfoot and I breakdancing.
