Whay dont they release some of their great titles on DVD? I am sure many horror enthusiasts like me have been weaned on these kitschy classics, and would love to buy them if ever released on DVD. I have about 14 of their films on VCDs, and would love to see a DVD someday of at least 2 of their bona fide classics: Purana Mandir and Bandh Darwaza.

Anybody have an idea whether the following movies are at least available on VCDs and if so how may I acquire them?

Andhera
Dahshat
Aur Kaun?
Guest House

I think if I get these 4 my collection will be fairly complete.

I would also love to see horror movies from the Ramsay Brothers on DVD.
I would like to see the following movies on DVD:

- Purana Mandir
- Veerana
- Purani Haveli
- Hotel
- Do Gaz Zameen ke Neeche
- Guest House

I know that at least one of their movies is available on DVD. It's Ghungroo ki Awaaz ( Shemaroo ) * ing: Vijay Anand, Rekha.
But I think it's more like a suspense.

I would love to see this on DVD - hopefully i can track some of these down on VCD atleast in india

BTW for those intersted - the Mondo Macbro DVD of Living Corpse has a 30 mins documentary on South asian horror which is pretty much Ramsay's territory - it was intersting documentary

I bought a copy of Zindaa Lash (The Living Corpse) and thoroughly enjoyed it! Mondo Macabro should now take all those movies listed in previous posts, meticulously restore them and then rerelease them on region 1 NTSC dvds. A Pakistani website http://www.thehotspotonline.com has alot of information on both Bollywood and Lollywood horror films. They even used to sell alot of Bollywood/Lollywood horror films ,without subtitles, on VCD. However, their online store, Bubonic Films is now closed.

Practically all the Ramsay films are available on VCDs in India. The price range is from Rs 49-Rs 99. I sent as many as 70 VCDs of horror films to a friend who is doing his Master's in Indian Horror Films in Italy.

A seller from India by the name of Weird and Beautiful is selling a very large selection of Bollywood Horror VCDs on Ebay. They are very expensive. They are priced between $18 -21 USD not including shipping. Unfortunately, none come with English subtitles. One last thing, I found two horror films called Junoon and Hotel on DVD for sale at Nehaflix.com I hope this helps anyone interested.

Not a Ramsay horror film, but I hate to start a thread just to ask this stupid question. Anyone have any info whether this film " Pyar Ka Saaya" was ever released on VHS< VCD or DVD? This one is a remake of " GHOST" that starred Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg . Pyar Ka Saaya stars Rahul Roy, Amrita Singh and was a decent remake imho!
