Hi all,

I'd like to ask for some help in making a list of all the DVDs released a while ago by Eros that were authored by Prasad. There didn't seem to be many, but they were all mostly very good quality - proper film-to-NTSC, although not quite progressive. Here's the ones I know of already...

Caravan
Dharmatma
Gumnaam
Hum Kisise Kum Naheen
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak
Qurbani

IIRC Devdas was not PAL-sourced. Not the greatest quality though.

Wasn't a Prasad job either though.

I do agree Dharmatma and Qurbani were good PQ (and may be QSQT too), but Caravan was terrible (better than Sky Caravan, though).
Don't remember about others. Don't rember off hand, which ones were Pseudo-Prog or like?? BTW, Pseudo-Prog like DVD could be from Film to NTSC VHS (or n'th copy VHS) in which case it will be worst than direct Film to PAL telecine and then to NTSC DVD.

I'll check later again on these DVDs, but may take me a while.

They were definitely not from VHS sources - they all had the unmistakable early Prasad/Ayngaran 'look' where a proper transfer had been done from film.

Add Dayavan and Sailaab to the list too.
