Have any of you heard of or seen the Tamil film "Jaihind"? I don't remember much about, but it stars Arjun. He is a police officer, I believe. Vidyasagar did the music. The song "Mutham Thara" is based on Malkit Singh's "Gur Nalon Ishq Mitha."

Any of the Tamil experts here know if this will be on DVD?

I think EROS has put the Hindi dubbed version already onto DVD, not sure about the Tamil version and some how doubt it will be avalible from Anygaran for a long time as the film isn't a high priority on thier wide list.

Saw it back in 1994. The movie is nothing to write home about it. Remembered more for some wet dances by Ranjitha than for the action. The story is something like Arjun being a tough police officer who recruits 4 prisoners to help him tackle a terrorist/bandit hiding out in some jungle. The songs are good though.
