Another film that I have never seen a DVD or even a VHS of.
A film with perhaps the sweetest song in Hindi films, "Pyar Mnga Hai Tumhi Se, Naa Inkaar Karo" from Sachn, Bindiya Goswami's COLLEGE GIRL. There were other rocking songs (Bappi Lehri) as well.

There are other films with same title that are avail but not Sachin, Bindiya one.
(BTW, "Pyar Mnga Hai Tumhi Se, Naa Inkaar Karo" song has been copied in various re-mixes audio-videos but no one could match the orig Kishore Kumar.)

Thanks Muz for the link.
Looks like a new release on VCD. There are comments in that link about others as well have been looking for this song/ film for long long time and that the song is sweet(est) melody.
Obviously the film didn't do too well and perhaps it didn't even become avail on VHS. It's the first time I saw the video.
BTW, other songs in the film are mostly western rock music with some English wordings (college setting ??).

U-Tube video was not that bad either. But, audio sure is not nearly as sweet as the CD/ LP audio.

I hope, Eagle releases it on DVD as well.

I'm just watching Mawaali on VCD again, and was wondering if any decent DVDs of this, Maqsad or Majaal had been released yet? Also, are there any recommendations for entertaining masala films of the 80s like the ones mentioned?

Maqsad is one of my/ our favorite from the VHS days and Shemaroo release sure is exciting.

But, no easy way to get it here. Local stores/ importers have stopped getting new stocks, saying that they don't want to feed the pirates that buy just one DVD for $ 6-10 and make hundreds of copies; ton of profit for the pirates and peanuts for the importer.

Picked up a 2012 Calendar, Title: BOLLYWOOD.

It has pictures of Posters from some Nostalgic Films.
(Nostalgic for me - in bold)

1) Kaajal

2) Sindbad Alibaba Aladin (1965 color film: Pradeep Kumar, Helen (miniature Genie), Lead heroine I think is Minoo Mumtaz ?? One of the famous songs: Mera Naam Jinnie, Sone Ki Ginnie or something like that. Famous for Spl effects, color ) I don't think a DVD exists. Ultra VCD is avail.

3) Naag Jyoti (Anita Guha, Mahipal, Indra, Ratan Mala) Most likely, DVD doesn't exist ??

4) Aradhana

5) Naya Zamana

6) Pooja Ke Phool (AVM Productions: Dharmendra, Mala Sinha, Nimmi come back attemt). Is DVD avail ??

7) Hari Darshan (Joy Films: Devotional film, Lyrics Pradeep, Music Kalyan Ji Annand Ji)

8) Amar Singh Rathod (Nirupa Roy, Jairaj lead actors, Veena)

9) Noor Mahal (Shakila, Daljeet lead actors)

10) Toofan Aur Diya (Raj Kamal Pictures - is it V. Shantaram Prod Co. ??) I think, DVD exists.

11) Bheegi Raat

12) Awara Abdullah (Dara Singh, Parveen Chaudhry in lead roles. Helen, Chandershekhar - at one time was a big actor)

The films I'm looking for are a bit more obscure since they're of the mythological genre, but they are good films which deserve DVD releases nonetheless. I haven't even been able to find VCD copies of any of the following:

RAM LEELA (1961)
Abhi Bhattacharya, Jayshree Gadkar, Shahu Modak, Leela Chitnis

AMRIT MANTHAN (1961)
Usha Kiran, Manhar Desai, Ratnamala

HAR HAR GANGE (1968)
Abhi Bhattacharya, Jayshree Gadkar, Jeevan, Sulochana

BAAL MAHABHARAT (1973)
Sridevi, Anjali Devi, Prabhakar

SEETARAM RADHESHYAM (1973)
Ashish Kumar, Anita, B.M. Vyas, Jeevan

TU HI RAM TU HI KRISHNA (1976)
N.T. Rama Rao, Jayalalitha, Jamuna

JAI JAGAT JANANI (1976)
Padmini, Jayalalitha, Gemini Ganesh

VEER ARJUN (1977)
Rajkumar, Saroja Devi, Kanchan, Shashikala

VEER PARSHURAM (1978)
Srinath, Saroja Devi, Rajesh

MAYA BAZAR (1984)
Dara Singh, Rakesh Pandey, Rita Bhaduri

Rana saab/Muz - looks like a DVD of College Girl is available - I assume it is the Eagle version:

The ecconomics of the older movies are bad. Some films go on free domain and if one company had paid for the rights then they lose big time as everyone can make the dvd for free,
