Thank so much for your advice. Is the Spark UK version good? I have Junglee on Spark UK and it is fairly good - not compared it with other versions.

The best Aradhana version is the original EVP release that was OAR (4:3) and was Progressive. I'm not sure if it stayed Progressive when they added subtitles to it in the later version.

Aradhana was made in Hindi and also in Bengali, simultaneously.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuAWPUn78pk

The youtube video shows clips of 2 Mohd Rafi Hindi songs compared with Bengali version sung by Kishore Kumar, instead of Rafi. Clips are short. But, what it implies is that a Bengali version of Aradhana exists and so should appear on youtube or any home video format. Would love to see that Bengali version.

If anyone comes across it, please post link or source.

Aradhana in Bengali was a dubbed version of the Hindi film, it wasn't re-shot, I think I may have a copy of it on VHS somewhere. Shakti Samanta started making dual versions of his films much later, with Amanush, Anand Ashram and later, Barsaat Ki Ek Raat (Anusandhan in Bengali), and Aar Paar (Anyay Abhichar in Bengali).

With regards to the songs, Kishore Kumar sang the Bengali version of Gunguna Rahe Hain Bhawre, but Rahul Dev Burman sang the Bengali version of Baghon Mein Bahar Hai, both of which were sung by Rafi in the Hindi version.

There has been a '4K' version of Aradhana uploaded - unfortunately this is cropped though:
