If poss can anyone provide screenshots/review of jungle the 16x9 enhanced rereleased version.

I cant find a review of the PQ or sound quality anywhere.

DVD specs of the Eros/B4U DVD: anamorphic video @ 2.50:1 with pseudo 5.1 audio (mono panned to all channels – pretty pathetic considering Jungle had good DTS track at the theatres). Video is pretty poor on the DVD lacks any colour depth and contrast. Video is pretty soft despite the 16x9 enhancement and progressive encoding (no doubt pleasing 'the believers' :rolleyes: ). Shabby menu system that only contains a song selection and no chapter selection. All of 154mins cramped onto a single layered disc with a average bit rate of 3.4Mb.sec. I don’t remember Eros re-releasing this DVD, so this could be the only copy.

Oh yeah this was the time that ERO$ and DEI started coming out with rental copies. EROS$ released Josh, this amongst others. DEI released the Shilpa Shetty, Tabu, Nana starrer Tarkieb.

worth it for $5.99 at IW, apart from sound.

there are 2 versions of this 1 the normal eros release and then the 16x9enhanced version by eros similar to the taal rerelease

Agree BH but this was a new film when the dvd was released. This film has one of the best DTS recordings ever though all RGV films have great sound. Luckily I saw the film in theater. I wonder if ever another company could release Jungle, Josh, and Road again. Oh ya and Dil Se too

Did EROS or any other company ever release this film in true 5.1?? It has been over 3 yrs now.
SHEMAROO ??

Despite low bit rate PQ is not that bad. But, for a story plot like this, it deserves true 5.1 surround.

I remember I was so angry with Ero$ when I bought this and Josh that I wanted to get a class action lawsuit against them for lying to consumers. :ffs:

I mean there's a limit to stupidity. Even some pirates are able to get 5.1 correct.
