Looks like they have stolen the DEI print, copying from DVD to Digibeta, squashed the aspect ratio from 1.85:1 to 2.35:1, then wrongly flagged the 16:9 option when authoring the DVD...

...or they just used a shitty print, done in an incorrect aspect ratio.

It is not the same DEI transfer. The Eros dvd has extra picture on the sides. it does not have the reported repeated frames like the DEI dvd.

But yes, it is slightly strecthed when watching in 4:3 TV screens.

This is called TECHNOLOGY in BAD HANDS

I'll stick with my DEI/BEI copy any day.....the DEI transfer is the best I have seen on TV
