Hi...

Long time lurker, first time poster - just wanted to know the specs on the Mann (Aamir Khan, Monisha Koirala) DVD - all I know is that EROS was going to release it again (this might be old news)

I really love the movie and would like to know how the DVD is...things like whether its anamorphically enhanced, DD5.1, pic quality, sound quality, does it have any glitches...thanks!

Don't buy the anamorphic version it is actually worse in picture quality then thier first release of the film. The film is heavily cropped at the top & bottom of the screen to make the film look more widescreen! The poor sound, menu and lack of extras makes it even more pittiful.

Best to buy the first version

I can't seem to add to my Indian DVD collection - I only have Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (DEI) version - from what I read there aren't many movies that are worth having (the movie has to be good in my opinion as well and then the quality has to be good too)

Also since I have a widescreen TV, there is no way I will buy a non-anamorphic DVD!
