does this disc have the sad ending or the happy ending? someone please let me know. thanks.

i didnt even know there was a sad version!

sad version is slightly shorter. sad version has the song "choti si ye zindagani hai".. raj kapoor dies on the street where nargis married off with pran on a palanquin. i can try to make the mpeg of ending if you like.

thanks shuman. It would've been nice if they had both endings on the dvd. But, I guess I'll buy it anyways since the movie's still good. I did, however, wrote to yrf, if they would consider re-releasing, but that's probably not gonna happen. I haven't gotten a reply yet. Well anyways, thanks for the help.
