ME, i highly recommend this movie. i liked very few hindi films last year and this def makes it on to my short list ( along with maqbool). but again my taste differs from lot of other people on this board. i see film not only as "a medium of entertainment " but also as "a medium of art".

my advice to you is dont read the review (or atleast dont belive in it ). This review takes the movie in a "literal" sense !. Think of Tabu as a Raghuvir Yadav's charecter in the book that he is writing. think also of how an artist will interact with his artwork, think of the joy/suffering/pain that he has to go through in order to create his masterpiece.

ofcourse this film is far from perfect , but atleast it dares to go where few artist in india have dared to go before. i also see the film as semi-biographical ,in that it shows how an artist ( Hussain in this case) works with his artwork.
