I read an article(don't remember the source) that the US DVD sales will top movie collections in the theaters next year.
I remember all the movie studios worried about losing money due to DVDs when they first came out.

If only the idiots in the Indian film industry realize this and produce decent dvds in par with the hollywood dvds.

Actually Home Video Sales have far surpassed the theatrical collections for a while now (atleast 5-6 yrs). Therefore with DVD now overtaking VHS sales, this is not a surprise.
